Piersol Group Camp, Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park
Directions: Take best route to corner of HWY 51 and N. Watkins St., just north of Memphis. Take N. Watkins approx. 7 miles N to the “T” at Locke Cuba Rd and turn left. After 0.8 miles turn right on to Bluff Rd. State Park entrance will be on the left after about 0.2 miles. Follow the signs to the Piersol Group Camp.
Sieze the ship battle, Pirate Brawl (rapier), Tug of War, Youth Combat.
Classes to be held will encompass Siege Tactics, Soldierly Clothing, Camp Foods, and possibly Cartography.

Note: This site is discreetly wet. All containers must be covered in some fashion and disposed of into the cans immediately upon being emptied. ABOVE GROUND FIRES ONLY in self contained pits. No chopping of wood is permitted, but the use of deadfall is encouraged. As a TN State Park, you may not bring in firewood from outside locations except the purchase from the stores near site.
